Ramadan: Seeking Nearness to God
All Praises are due to Allah (SWT); we thank Him for blessing us with the opportunity
to serve Him and serve Islam. We hope this letter reaches you all in the best of health and
strong Eman.
As-Salaamu 'Alaikum wa-Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh:
I would like to congratulate you all for a well-organized and successful event. Alhamdulillah
over 450 people attended our first annual AAMO event. We had attendees from San Francisco to San
Diego and even out the state. Alhamdulillah the community showed their interest and support for
our humble effort. We have to keep this momentum and remind ourselves that the success was truly
from Allah (swt) and we should thank Him for blessing our efforts.
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that Rasulullah (saw) said : "He who does not thank people,
does not thank Allah". ( Ahmad, Tirmidhi )
We could not have had a successful event without the awesome help of our volunteers like you.
Everyone was truly amazing and exemplified what Islamic manners and teamwork truly is, it was an
honor working with you all. We are truly indebted to your outstanding service to AAMO, your
organization. Insha Allah soon we will Insha Allah invite you for an appreciation dinner and we
will have a nice Iftar together.
May Allah (SWT) accept your efforts and hard work in the balance of your good deeds and
rewards you and your family with the best of the both worlds for your past and continuing
contribution to AAMO. May He (swt) give us the ability to continue working in His cause together
as one team and bring harmony and closeness towards each other. Ameen

What: A conference dedicated to help Muslims understand and prepare for the holiest
month of the entire year. This conference will have sessions in both Farsi and English.
